Ready for Harvest

The new school field has been levelled, rolled and tilled and is ready for sewing the seed. It seems appropriate to plant the grass now ready for the children to enjoy next summer.  The soil is a fine colour  and already seems to be draining well in some heavy showers.  To think soon it will be ready for running, jumping, hoping and skipping.  Lots of balls being bounced, thrown, kicked and hit all surrounded by a fantastic view across South Somerset. I wonder what the cattle in the field next door will think of it?
