Geography Day – 23rd of May
The whole school took part in a Geography based day that started off in assembly and the children flew to the different countries they were going to learn about. In Brazil the children located the country on the map, learnt about the climate and carnivals. They then visited Australia which they found on a map and then learnt about the aboriginal culture. They then visited Italy and made Pizza. Finally, the children flew to Greenland and learnt about the ice melting and the problem with plastic pollution. The children had a fantastic day!
