FAQs

What age do you take children from?

We take children from the age of two. We ensure that the activities we provide for the children are able to challenge children of varying abilities and ages so that whatever the age of your child they will find something to excite and challenge them at the preschool. We do have a limited number of two year old places available but will always try to accommodate children where possible.

Do the children get to spend time outside of the classroom?

We operate a free flow system which allows children access to our outside area throughout the day. We have a purpose built under cover area which allows us to access outside no matter what the weather! Our outside area provides exciting activities to explore as well as the space to run and play.

What should I do if my child is ill?

To reduce the risk of infection to children and staff, please do not bring your child to preschool if they have been sick or had diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours. In line with our fees policy sessions missed by your child due to illness will still be chargeable. Please call the preschool on 01935 850564 to let us know your child will not be attending.

If your child becomes ill whilst they are at preschool we will contact you to discuss the best course of action.  As part of the enrolment process we will collect key contacts for your child including GP details.

Will I still be charged if my child misses a session due to holiday?

In line with our fees policy we are unable to refund fees for missed sessions as we have to ensure a certain level of staffing based on your child’s regular attendance.  Please contact the preschool on 01935 850564 or email preschool@countessgytha.ppat365.org to let us know if your child will be missing a session.

How can I find out more?
