Who is the PFSA and what can she do to help?
We are very lucky to have an experienced PFSA, Beth Patton, who is shared between four local PPAT schools.
The PFSA's role can extend to both the home and school setting. Beth is available to assist in reinforcing boundaries and routines, as well as signpost towards other services such as sleep or nutritional support.
Please see all of the information and websites below which may be a good first ‘port of call’ for you before you may want to make a call to ask for support. Please have a look through these websites and leaflets to see if there is any information which can help you.
If you feel you need PFSA support regarding your child’s behaviour at home, please speak to your child's class teacher, the Headteacher or school SENCO. They will ask you to keep a STAR analysis sheet (below) for 2 weeks, which you may choose to undertake before contacting a staff member for support.
If you would like support you can speak to a member of staff and ask them to make a referral to our PFSA, fill in the referral form yourself (see below), or simply call the number above.
