Hello Lancelot Class!
We are very sorry that the school has had to close tomorrow, due to the Storm - here are some activities that you might like to try throughout the day. There is a maths activity, with a variety of questions to recap what we have learned so far this year, which you can solve on a blank or scrap bit of paper. I have also recorded a video of myself reading the next few chapters of our class book, Holes, for you to have a listen to if you'd like to.
Stay safe, have a great half term, and I will see you ready for the start of Spring Term 2 on Monday 28th February!
Mr Gallagher and Mrs Sherry
Madame Sherry would like children to compose sentences related to reading the date and weather conditions. This is a drag-and-drop activity using the following link:
Additionally, there is a video to watch and an interactive game to play.
Start to think about your costume ideas for World Book Day 2022 (3rd March!). You can sketch your body template out using lesson video linked below or use this one to get started straight away. If drawing isn't your thing, create a collage mood-board that brings together lots of ideas and colours to help bring your costume to life.
Don't forget to label your designs and share them with the class on our return as they will make a great WBD display!
