LL visits classroom

Mrs Annie Maw the Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset was accompanied by Mr David Medlock the Vice Lord-Lieutenant on her visit to the school recently.  They were shown round by bam managers, the headteacher and governors. The visit was organised by Mrs Rachel Scully on behalf of the governors and school to see if Mrs Maw could help us with who might formally open the school in the autumn. As we are now close to the end of the build Mrs Maw and Mr Medlock were able to see all that the new school would have to offer to the children and families of the community the school serves. They were both really interested in the design, the inclusive facilities and excited for the future of Countess Gytha Primary.
